The Best Exercise

Wait! Before you skim down to find which exercise, action, asana or routine I've labeled as the best, read the whole story...

It's always interesting to note that when I'm approached and asked to pin down a single exercise, etc. as the one that will help that person reach a certain goal the quickest; I'm always slow to answer.

You see, as a expert, I'm acutely aware of the fact that though an exercise may be perfect for Client A, it may not be the best choice for Client B --hence my hesitation to label any exercise as the universal best.

Still, there are exercises, etc. that are better than others. And, yes, there are even a few that I would label as among the best for more many goals.

What makes an exercise the best? Probably the single most important factor in determining what exercise is “best” for you is your answer to the following question: Will you do it consistently? If your answer is no, it does not matter how effective that particular exercise, etc. could be in helping you achieve your goals if you did it. However, quite simply: If you don’t do it, it will be no more effective than the absolute worst exercise would be. So be sure to take this into account when choosing what you will be doing.

As for your likes and dislikes, remember the old saying: What you like the least, you probably need the most!

We all need to examine our likes and dislikes; and, do our best to adjust them to more closely match what we need. If we can change ourselves to like what we need and dislike what we don't need

A good plan executed well is better than a perfect plan executed poorly!

Now is the time to make a do-able plan.
